Brit Oscar Night

Just in case you've been in hibernation today, the Oscars proved a big night for Brits. Slumdog Millionaire scooped up 8 Oscars, including Best Picture and Best Director. This is the first movie fully financed in the UK to gain Best Picture since Sir Laurence Olivier's Hamlet in 1948. Kate Winslet's Best Actress brought the Brit. score up to 9, and Best Documentary Feature winner Man on Wire made it 10.
