Dreamspace Jury

Maurice Agis inside DreamspaceThe jury in the case of manslaughter against Dreamspace designer Maurice Agis at Newcastle Crown Court was discharged today, having failed to reach a verdict after more than 11 hours of deliberation. On Tuesday, Mr Agis was found guilty of breaching the Health and Safety Act. The Crown Prosecution Service will decide whether he must face a retrial on the manslaughter charge.

I suppose all sculptors should take note here, 3rd party insurance is not enough! Your "Bang" would make a mess!

Hi, Robert

This is what I mean about artists creating BIG artworks needing to be qualified engineers. And Dreamspace was a tried and tested design! One freak gust wind of wind and the artist is on a charge.

Insurance is becoming really expensive too. I recall last year a borough council cancelled a traditional pancake race because it couldn't afford the insurance premium!
