Bunny & Rattie Update
That anonymous telephone bidder who made the highest bid for Floppity Bunny and Rattie in the Christie's Yves Saint Laurent auction in Paris last week (CLICK) has revealed himself as Cai Mingchao, an adviser to China's National Treasures Fund which tries to reclaim looted treasures. Today he held a press conference in which he refused to honour his bid. He has no intention of paying for the looted bronzes and wants them returned to China.
