BAFTA Special

The organisers of the BAFTA awards have announced that the Harry Potter films will receive a prize for their outstanding British contribution to cinema by highlighting "the expertise within the British craft and technical industries". Shame the profits go to Hollywood. Author J.K. Rowling and producer David Heyman will receive the award on behalf of the Harry Potter franchise at the Royal Opera House in London on 13 February.
