Oscar Shorts

Apart from Melissa Leo slipping the f*** word into her acceptance speech and being bleeped, the only real surprise at last night's Oscar awards ceremony was Shaun Tan's The Lost Thing winning Best Animated Short Film. Shaun graduated from the University of WA in 1995 with joint honours in Fine Arts and English Literature and works as a freelance artist and author in Melbourne.
