Angel Ambush

There you are in London's Victoria Station, wondering where the hell to go, when an angel crash lands beside you. You can't see her, of course, because she isn't there: but if you look up at the big screen she's standing beside you: slim, beautiful, untouched by human hand; everything you always wanted in a Fallen Angel. This is a sample of augmented reality, designed by advertising agency Mindshare for Lynx Excite deodorant (title link). The stunt has proved hugely successful and also enjoyable for the punters, which is more than can be said for most advertising campaigns.
