Lost Toad Found

Here is JW's drawing of the spindly-legged Rainbow Toad, Ansonia latidisca, described in the title as a "new species". The toad was last seen in 1924, so that gives you some idea of the age of this drawing. Zoologists have been searching for the little fellow ever since. They thought it had become extinct. But no. A team from Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS) found three of them up a tree during a night-time search in Borneo.
