Stephen's Art at JFK

Stephen Wiltshire MBE is in the news again. A 245ft long version of his panoramic drawing of New York City's skyline has gone on show at New York's JFK airport. It took him four days to complete his drawing from memory. Stephen is an autistic savant with an eidetic (photographic) memory who can rotate a mental image in the way that a computer can rotate 3D vector graphics! A 20- to 45-minute helicopter flight is all he needs to produce a drawing of a major city: London, Rome, Tokyo, New York. Victoria Hollins went to meet him in his London gallery (click the title link for the BBC News video). CLICK to visit Stephen's website.
