Sapphire Seas Sold

Bolton Council has sold Robert Gemmell Hutchison's Sea Gulls and Sapphire Seas for £120,000. The Council bought it in 1912 for £150. Nice profit. Shame about the loss of this great painting by a Scottish master (title link).
