No Welsh Cull

Good news for Welsh badgers: Environment Minister John Griffiths has taken note of the scientific evidence and has decided to cancel plans to cull badgers in Wales. Instead he has opted to vaccinate badgers against bovine TB, which they catch from infected cattle (title link). Sense at last! The fatheads in England still plan to go ahead with their futile cull.
