Trayvon Martin

At first glance the hairdo to the right might seem the silliest mop since Velázquez' Portrait of Queen Mariana of Austria in 1653 (CLICK), but it is a serious work of protest art. It portrays seventeen-year-old Trayvon Martin on the left, who was shot to death by a trigger-happy neighbourhood watch volunteer George Zimmerman on 26 February. Yesterday saw another protest rally, where a photographer from The Miami Herald snapped this hairdo of 'Mohawk Gas' (title link). Zimmerman claims self-defence and that he screamed for help, but two independent voice analysts report that the voice screaming on a recording isn't his. So he lied. That makes it seem like a case of cold-blooded murder to me.
