Diamond Jubilee Window
Yesterday, in The Queen’s Chapel of the Savoy, London, HM Queen Elizabeth II unveiled a stained glass window marking her Diamond Jubilee. Edinburgh-born artist Douglas Hogg designed the window, having beaten 33 rival entries. Above is the top half of the Diamond Jubilee Window, left a detail with the Queen on horseback flanked by one of her corgis - a bit far-fetched that - and Her Majesty's signature (CLICK). The Queen’s Chapel of the Savoy has nothing to do with the hotel, but belongs to Her Majesty The Queen in Her Right as Duke of Lancaster (CLICK). I bet you didn't know a queen could be a duke.
