Sir Paul in Dandy

Sir Paul McCartney has fulfilled his personal ambition of appearing in The Dandy, published by DC Thomson in Dundee. He made it in the nick of time, because the final print edition of the comic hits the shops this week. When Sir Paul heard about the demise of The Dandy, he wrote to DC Thomson to ask if he could be included. Yes. In it this Cartoon of Sir Paul McCartney meets up with Desperate Dan and leads 50 of the comic's most famous characters in a sing-along version of Hey Jude. This week's final print edition marks The Dandy's 75th anniversary. The comic will continue in digital format (CLICK).
