New Maggie Portrait

The National Portrait Gallery in London has unveiled its latest portrait of Dame Maggie Smith (2012). The commission went to James Lloyd, who produced this bland painting of a bored Dame. He had more fun with the linoleum than with Maggie (CLICK). Waste of J.P. Morgan's money. A good photo of her as Dowager Countess of Grantham in Downton Abbey would have been far better (CLICK).
