El Dorado at BM

If you're into gold, here's the exhibition for you: Beyond El Dorado: power and gold in ancient Colombia, which opens at The British Museum in London on 17 October (CLICK). The exhibition explores the rich and diverse cultures of Colombia before the 16th-century arrival of the Spanish conquistadors. Shown is an Anthropomorphic pectoral, Colombia, Tairona (AD 900–1600). This is just one of the gold goodies that will be on display. Admission will cost £10.
