Art Confiscated

President Putin's thought police are continuing to confiscate art in Saint Petersburg in preparation for the G20 summit, which begins today. Last week police raided the Museum of Power - a private art gallery - and confiscated several paintings, including one depicting Putin in a nightie adjusting the hair of Russian PM Dmitry Medvedev wearing bra and panties (CLICK). The artist, Konstantin Altunin, has since fled Russia and is seeking political asylum in France. Yesterday police confiscated Vera Donskaya-Khilko's Wrestling (2011) from an erotica museum in Saint Petersburg (detail shown). The painting depicts President Obama and President Putin with giant phalluses facing off. Putin has two phalluses symbolising his virility, while Obama's phallus is supported by what appears to be a pile of books.
