If you want escapism that doesn't insult the intelligence, the fictitious Caribbean island of Saint-Marie is the place to be. Silver sand, lush jungle vegetation and French-Portuguese actress Sara Martins as Detective Sergeant Camille Bordey. What more could you want? Ben Miller back as up-tight Detective Inspector Poole with his briefcase on the beach, but he was killed off in the last series. So we'll have to put up with accident-prone Detective Inspector Humphrey Goodman played by Kris Marshal, who is doing his best to fill the gap left by Miller (CLICK).
