If you fancy tramps, here's the exhibition for you. In association with The Big Issue (a magazine sold by the homeless) London’s Halcyon Gallery is showing some of Robert Lenkiewicz's many portraits of vagrants, from 8 February to the end of the month. It's quality art, but I can't help thinking that photos of these subjects would be more realistic than oil paintings, which give them a false grandeur. The days when society romanticized tramps as "kings of the road" are long gone.
