Two Picasso's Nicked

Pablo Picasso - Maya à la poupée (1938) and Maya and the DollTwo Picasso's were stolen from the Paris home of his granddaughter Diana Widmaier-Picasso on Monday night: Maya and the Doll, a portrait of Picasso's daughter (one of two versions shown), and Portrait of Jacqueline, his second wife. According to ArtDaily (CLICK) the Maya on the left is the stolen Maya. According to BBC News (title link) the Maya on the right is the stolen Maya! Will the real Maya please stand up, before the French Fuzz get totally confused? This tripe is worth an unbelievable £33.7m ($66m)! Greedy burglars: no artistic taste.
