UK Science Week

National Science Week started today: 9 March, but this year the BA (British Association for the Advancement of Science) has decided to call it National Science and Engineering Week. I guess this is because engineers have a better public image than scientists. I mean, engineers get things to work, while scientists have a reputation for being as safe as a Muslim suicide bomber with a lit fuse. It's all media lies, of course.
