Cloning Jesus

The label on the nurse's uniform reads "The Second Coming Project". Take a mediocre photograph, add some third-rate airbrush work and you have Cloning Jesus (2007). This is part of a group show of mixed media works entitled Organized Religion, which opened on Good Friday at Like the Spice, Brooklyn, New York, USA. That's the trouble with religious holidays: lousy TV and religious fruitcakes dishing out their homilies. Wouldn't it be fantastic if we could all take a holiday from religion and see how the world gets on without it? We'd need to find another daft reason for killing one another!
