Hadrian Statue Found

Emperor Hadrian's HeadBelgium archaeologists working the Sagalassos site in southern Turkey have unearthed parts of a giant statue of Roman Emperor Hadrian, including his head (shown). A bronze statue has also been discovered. Britain is still marked by Hadrian's Wall, built on Hadrian's orders to keep the barbaric Scots from attacking Roman troops and the conquered English living under Roman rule.
