Stolen Maya Recovered
On 1 March, Coxsoft Art reported on the theft of Picasso paintings from the Paris home of Picasso's granddaughter Diana Widmaier Picasso and on the confusion over which version of Maya had actually been nicked (CLICK). French agents have recovered three Picassos and made three arrests. (Sounds like a police sting operation.) ArtDaily is still convinced it was Maya a la poupee (1938) that was stolen. We'll see.
