Digital Art Innovations

Camera Phone Art on Building in Edinburgh (2007)Here's the latest digital art project unveiled at Siggraph 2007: Spellbinder allows invisible virtual art placed on buildings to be revealed by camera phones. Scottish researchers have adorned buildings in Edinburgh with this art. Sorry, lads. The fashion industry pipped you at the post with "smart" fabrics such as Kameraflage, shown at Siggraph 2007 a few days ago (CLICK). I'm afraid none of this nonsense is going to persuade Coxsoft Art to lash out on a camera phone. If only you could get all those mindless graffiti gangs to do their tagging with this stuff, that would be a major contribution to society.
