Battle of Britain Coin

We tend not to think of coins as works of art, probably because they're minted by the millions, but look at Ian Rank-Broadley's design for the obverse of the new Bailiwick of Guernsey £5 Battle of Britain commemorative coin, which perfectly evokes RAF fighter pilots scrambling to their aircraft during the Battle of Britain in 1940. This coin celebrates the 90th anniversary of the Royal Air Force.
