Bern Schwartz Update

Re. my post on the Bern Schwartz collection (CLICK). Thanks to an anonymous tip, I can now report that the BBC News item on the donation of 140 Bern Schwartz photos to the National Portrait Gallery was actually news of the opening of an exhibition of 30 of these photos: Bern Schwartz: Portraits of the 1970s. The BBC reporter completely forgot to mention that he or she was covering the opening of an exhibition! How's that for lousy journalism? This beautiful yet surprisingly introspective photo portrait of Twiggy Lawson (1978) is another of the Bern Schwartz gems on display. The exhibition opened on 10 July and continues until 4 January 2009. Find it in Room 33.
