Scary Fairy Lights

"Oo-er, Dad. It moved!" This threatening lump of carbon glass outside the Fortezza da Basso in Florence is The Cloud, another of those hi-tech doodads which interact with visitors. This one uses hundreds of sensors and over 15,000 optic fibres to make kids back off in alarm. It's "an organic sculptural landmark". What a pompous term for scary fairy lights!
