First Night Artist

Film producer Stephen Evans decided on a novel idea with his latest movie First Night, about staging a production of Mozart's Cosi Fan Tutte in a stately home. He appointed John Wonnacott to be artist-in-residence on the film set to record an artist's view of proceedings, instead of having a stills photographer. These works are featured in the exhibition John Wonnacott: A Tale of Two Houses, which opened yesterday at Agnew's Gallery in Mayfair, London, and runs until 25 February (title link).
