Call of Duty: Black Ops, developed by Treyarch and published by Activision, has made history by becoming the best selling video game ever. According to market research firm NPD, it has sold 13.7 million copies in the USA alone. It made £223 million in its first 24 hours on sale and reached the milestone of $1 billion (£647 million) in six weeks. That puts it in the same league as blockbuster movies Titanic (1997) and Avatar (2009). Pretentious twerps in the Brit. Anti-art Establishment still want to waste millions of pounds of taxpayers' money persuading the masses to appreciate art, when the masses in their millions are enjoying the superb artwork of Call of Duty: Black Ops.
