Postmodernism at V&A

The autumn biggy at the V&A Museum in London is Postmodernism: Style and Subversion 1970-1990, which runs from 24 September to 15 January 2012. This will be the first in-depth survey of the controversial art, design and architecture of the 1970s and 1980s (title link). You can supposedly book tickets online now, but I got the message "Booking currently unavailable due to essential maintenance". Not that I was going to book tickets for this show; I just wanted to find out how much entry would cost. The example shown is enough to put anyone off: Grace Jones in a maternity dress designed by Jean-Paul Goude and Antonio Lopez (1979). If this photo doesn't deter you, note that the show is supported by Barclays Wealth. That's really rubbing the punters' noses in it!
