You're Invited

The last I heard of VisitBritain's 60-second commercial You're Invited was that it had been ditched in the wake of the London riots, but it's on the VisitBritain website (GB) looking as naff as ever (title link). The latest load of tosh to emerge from VisitBritain is this photo of four old ladies on a feeble 3D artwork by Joe and Max, whoever they are, trying to recreate The Beatles' famous Abbey Road album cover. They couldn't even get the shadows right. Groan! Would this nonsense encourage you to visit the UK? Looks to me like VisitBritain - financed by the Department for Culture, Media and Sport - is another quango long overdue for scrapping. Its raison d'être begs the question: Have we any room for more foreigners? Not in Ghetto London, we haven't. It's full.
