Battersea Power Station

I rather enjoy artists' impressions of architectural projects, full of Eastern promise and bathed in sunshine. I just wish their employers, in this case a Malaysian consortium, would give them credit for their artistry. The £8 billion revamp of derelict Battersea Power Station and environs begins next year, if Malaysian pockets are deep enough. Since Margaret Thatcher's time as Prime Minister, various projects to redevelop the grade II listed building and its 39-acre site have come and gone (CLICK). Will this one do the biz? It will take 10 years before we find out. (CLICK for a BBC video).
