Stuckist Show

The Stuckists' next exhibition Stuckists: Elizabethan Avant-Garde opens at the Bermondsey Project on 5 October and runs until 21 October, afternoons only by the looks of it: 1pm-6pm (CLICK). The title is a Mickey-take of Tate Britain's current show "Pre-raphaelites: Victorian Avant-garde". Over 250 rebellious works in different media - painting, sculpture, photography, video and Turner Prize demonstration placards - will be shown. Any Turner Prize Crap badges? They are collectors items. The banner shows a detail from stuckist Ella Guru's Backstage. For those of you who haven't come across the Bermondsey Project, it's a partnership between Crisis, the national charity for single homeless people, and Bow Arts; working with artists to make better communities. You'll find it at 46 Willow Walk, London, SE1 5SF.
