Tansey Collection

You have only two full days left to hotfoot it to the Philip Mould & Company gallery in Dover Street, London, for the exhibition Miniatures from the Time of Marie Antoinette: The Tansey Collection (CLICK). I only found out about this short exhibition today. The above miniature portrait Lady Wearing a Hat Adorned with Feathers (c. 1790), watercolour on ivory by an anonymous English artist, gives you an example of the 60 high-quality artworks on display. The website also includes Philip Mould's fascinating video introduction to the history of British portrait painting.
