English Landscapes

Tomorrow the Royal Academy of Arts opens Constable, Gainsborough, Turner and the Making of Landscape, an exhibition which explores the development of the British school of landscape painting through its three famous RA's: John Constable RA, Thomas Gainsborough RA and JMW Turner RA. This goes back to the days when RA's were quality artists, not junk peddlers. On display will be 150 works of art, including paintings, prints, books and archival material (CLICK). Shown is The Leaping Horse (1825) by John Constable. As the works on display come from the Royal Academy of Arts' own collection, I don't see why entry should be £8 adults and £7 silver surfers.
