Fourth Plinth Show
The Institute of Contemporary Arts in The Mall, London, is one of those galleries I avoid, because it mainly showcases rubbish; but today it opened Fourth Plinth: Contemporary Monument, which might be more interesting than its usual dross (CLICK). The exhibition looks at the history of the Northwest plinth in Trafalgar Square since 1999, bringing together a wide range of material including a display of commissioned maquettes. Remember Marc Quinn's statue of severely disabled Alison Lapper Pregnant (2005)? The show continues until 20 January 2013. It's free.
