Universe Visions

On 7 June the National Maritime Museum in London opens Visions of the Universe, an astonishing array of images of stars, planets and galaxies gathered from NASA and the European Space Programme. It will also include historic artworks and the best entries from the Royal Observatory’s Astronomy Photographer of the Year competition. Shown is a NASA / Hubble space telescope image of Mystic Mountain (2010). The exhibition is dedicated to the memory of Sir Patrick Moore, who died last year (CLICK). Admission costs £7.25 for adults, £6.35 for silver surfers, £2.50 for kids (CLICK to read more and book tickets).
