Dialogue With Nature

The Courtauld Gallery in London will be showing A Dialogue with Nature: Romantic Landscapes from Britain and Germany from 30 January to 27 April (CLICK). The exhibition brings together 26 major drawings, watercolours and oil sketches by artists such as J.M.W. Turner, Samuel Palmer, Caspar David Friedrich, Carl Philipp Fohr, and Karl Friedrich Lessing. The German drawings and paintings are on loan from The Morgan Library and Museum in New York. Shown is Caspar David Friedrich's Moonlit Landscape (c. 1808). Admission to the gallery is its standard £6 for adults or £5 for silver surfers, including entry to temporary exhibitions. The best day to go is on a Monday: admission costs only £3, including public holidays.
