Olympic Park Opens

Today at 10am the new parkland in the south of Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in East London reopens to the public after its post-games spruce up (CLICK). Yesterday Prince Harry and Mayor Bouncy Boris went to frisk around on one of the new playgrounds with a gang of invited schoolchildren (CLICK). This is the largest park to open in London for a century, with over 250 acres of beautifully landscaped open space and 6.5 km of waterways. The daffodils are now in bloom and there are 25 public artworks to view.
