Cornelius Gurlitt dead

Cornelius Gurlitt, the 81-year old son of Nazi art dealer Hildebrand Gurlitt, died yesterday. He had recently received major heart surgery and, after a week in hospital, asked to return to his apartment in Schwabing, Munich, where he died in the presence of a doctor. I guess the monumental bill from his lawyers and PR team was too much to bear. With utter hypocrisy German Culture Minister Monika Gruetters praised the villainous hoarder: "It will remain a credit to Cornelius Gurlitt that he ... set an example in the search for fair and just solutions with his commitment to moral responsibility.
