Jane Austen Waxwork

Today the Jane Austen Centre in Bath unveiled the first ever Waxwork of Jane Austen. Forensic artist Melissa Dring commissioned the work for the Centre and spent a year researching Austen's appearance from contemporary eye-witness accounts. A team of specialists built up the image. Mark Richards sculpted the likeness. Award-winning costumier Andrea Galer designed the outfit. The whole project took three years! Was it worth it? CLICK for the Jane Austen Centre.
