New LU Trains

Transport for London has unveiled its new generation of London Underground trains (LU) designed by consultancy PriestmanGoode. The graphics are brilliant, showing this Heathrow train (Whoops!) and interiors of the new carriages which allow passengers to walk the full length of the train. For the first time on deep-level sections of the Tube there will be an air-cooling system built in, plus improved accessibility, step-free access from the platforms and more space for wheelchair users.
