BBC Whoopsie!

The BBC seems to be imitating its own comedy show W1A. Shown is BBC broadcast journalist Ahmen Khawaja, the twit who tweeted “Queen Elizabrth [sic] has died”. In fact the Beeb was rehearsing Her Majesty's obituary, a regular preparation for the Sovereign's demise. Buckingham Palace issued a statement that the Queen was in good health. An embarrassed BBC issued a correction and an apology, although I've seen no retraction on BBC News. Newspapers covered the story. CLICK for the London Evening Standard.
