Last of the Tide

Today 12 portraits of D-Day veterans went on display at The Queen's Gallery in Buckingham Palace, entitled The Last of the Tide. They were commissioned by Prince Charles after having been inspired by attending the 70th anniversary D-Day commemorations in Normandy last summer. Shown is Jonathan Yeo's portrait of D-Day veteran Geoffrey Pattinson (2015). The exhibition runs until 17 June (CLICK).
