My favourite too, from boyhood. And mainly free. Congratulations to the Natural History Museum, London, for winning The Independent Readers' Award 2006 for the UK's favourite museum, gallery or heritage attraction, nominated by the Brit. public and presented in May at the Museum and Heritage Awards for Excellence, which took place in London's Café Royal.
