Becks Gets The Boot

The Institute of Contemporary Arts (ICA) has given the Beck's Futures Art Prize the boot. Or has Beck's Futures given ICA the boot? If you shelled out for an art prize, would you be happy with the pair of boots illustrated as one of the most exciting entries? Whoever of whatever gave whomever the boot, it's all over after seven years of failure. ICA wanted to compete with the Turner Prize, but flopped. Let's face it, one laughing stock of an art prize is enough for any country. But the pretentious Philistines at ICA have their dastardly plans for another prize.
