Gherkin Fetches £600m

One of London's most famous landmarks, architect Lord Foster's prize-winning Swiss Re skyscraper known as the Gherkin - we Brits are too polite to mention what it really reminds us of - has been sold to a Jerry firm for £600m ($1.2bn). It cost a mere £138m to build back in 2003. That's inflation for you.
