T-shirts For Marginalised

Cherub holding T-shirtHere's another of those do-gooder social engineering projects based on art. Would you believe it, this cute little cherub with the lovely T-shirt is at risk of being marginalised and excluded, according to the Federation of British Artists' Education Department? Its patronizing notion is that printing their own T-shirt designs can prevent all those evil teenage thugs in the ghettos from knifing and shooting one another! The first exhibition of this nonsense will be on an outside wall of The Gallery at Willesden Green Library Centre, Brent, from 14th to 30th March 2007. Outside wall? Does this mean these kids have been marginalised and excluded already? Come on, give 'em a break. What if it rains cats and dogs and Russian Mafia imported handguns? Soggy T-shirts!
