Life Cheap in Lambeth

With disgusting insensitivity, the London Borough of Lambeth intends to obliterate this 8ft-high mural painted by a professional graffiti artist to commemorate Billy Cox, the 15-year-old schoolboy gunned down last Valentine's Day. Flowers are still being laid at this memorial. The dead youth's friends and many local residents are appalled by the council's decision, which shows how cheap life is in Lambeth. Shame on you, Lambeth councillors. Resign!
