Is It Art? (Part 2)

Is Jennifer Allen's video Happy Christmas Mom and Dad a work of art (video "still" shown)? Er ... yes. What! The only reason for viewing it as a work of art is that some tasteless twerp has defined it as a work of art. Why amateur video footage that is fuzzy, badly composed, poorly lit and lacking any aesthetic quality should be raised to the level of art is one of those mysteries of modern life. This cheesecake with a sense of humour is an example of the new talent to be found in The Future Can Wait at The Old Truman Brewery’s Atlantis Gallery in east London.
